Study Visit of Representatives from Austria to Srebrenica

As part of a study visit organized by Salzburger Bildungswerk and the University of Salzburg, a group of 20 participants visited Srebrenica, where they had the opportunity to visit the NGO “Europahaus” Srebrenica. The visit was led by one of the co-founders of Europahaus in Srebrenica.

During the visit, participants had the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the work, mission, and program activities of Europahaus, with a particular focus on projects implemented in cooperation with partners from Germany. Programs aimed at strengthening civil society, working with youth, education, and fostering dialogue within the local community were presented.

In addition, a meeting was organized with representatives of civil society and local institutions in Srebrenica, enabling an open exchange of views on the challenges as well as the development potential of the area. The discussions focused on the importance of international cooperation, the exchange of experiences, and the development of joint initiatives that contribute to the sustainable development of the community, as well as to the promotion of Srebrenica’s tourism potential.

This visit represents a continuation of good practices in connecting organizations and institutions from different European countries, with the aim of strengthening cooperation, mutual understanding, and solidarity.
